Any member that is currently facing an extended lay-off or is on lay-off for more than three days.
If you did not receive a notice of your lay-off that was either handed to you or mailed to your last know address, contact a shop steward or the Union office. The company has an obligation of notifying you 7 days prior to your lay-off.
Grievances may be pending for improper notification.
Again, these are for members facing lay-offs that will be longer than three days and does not cover probationary employee’s.
