The Company and the Union have agreed to 20 Temporary Inter Divisional Transfers from Tubular to Steel Division. Both parties agree this opportunity will be afforded to the most Senior Tubular employees on layoff. These employees will have the right to return to the Tubular Division based on their Plant Seniority.
The end date of temporary appointments may be adjusted based on operational need utilizing inverse seniority.
Senior Tubular employees that are currently employed and are required to remain and support Tubular Operations during the term of this LOU, and are subsequently laid off from Tubular Operations, will have the opportunity to displace the least senior Temporary Steel Helper employees should the opportunity arise.
The company will contact laid off employees based on plant seniority to expedite the process. In addition, the company will provide the union with a list of employees contacted including the start date, date the employee was contacted and if the employee accepted/declined the Temporary Transfer with the date that decision was provided.
This LOU is in effect at the date of signing and will end on or before May 31, 2025.
